FOXHILL - The Web Site

"They Live In A House, A Very Big House In The Country."

Imagine a country house left to decay for approximately 200 years. I don't just mean mild decay, I'm talking seriously disgusting - you know, pigeons in the shower, rats in the roof, god knows what in the cellar and a nasty stench of student everywhere. Picture that? Well, that would be Foxhill, a place deemed only habitable for the 38 lowest students in Berkshire according to Reading University Accomodation Service (RUAS). Despite the pressures these 38 have faced, including the daily interference of Terry & Mary Marriot-Lodge (No, they do a good job.) and the motherly involvement of Miss Plowman, these students have flourished in the mire, to the extent that some may even be allowed into real world surroundings in time for Year 2 of degree study. For now, they must continue with the challenge of Foxhill House and all it throws at them. This site is thus dedicated to these heartly young souls with their lives before them, who no doubt thought on opening their letters confirming their place at Foxhill last August, "Oh, looks OK." Oh how wrong they proved to be.
